Ahmedabad : Oben Electric, India’s fastest-growing R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer, today unveiled its newly launched Oben Rorr Evo in Ahmedabad in the presence of Shri Kaushik Vekariya, Minister of State for Law & Judiciary, Energy & Petrochemicals, and Legislative & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Gujarat. The launch underscores Gujarat’s growing significance in India’s electric mobility landscape and marks a major milestone in Oben Electric’s expansion strategy across the state.
Building on the overwhelming response received for the Rorr Evo, Oben Electric has announced plans to establish 15 showrooms across Gujarat by FY27, strengthening customer access to electric motorcycles, after-sales service, and ownership support. The company aims to deepen its presence in key cities including Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, and Mehsana.
The expansion comes amid rapid growth in Gujarat’s electric vehicle ecosystem, driven by increasing consumer awareness, supportive policies, and rising demand for performance-oriented electric mobility solutions. Ahmedabad alone has contributed nearly 30% of total Rorr Evo bookings from Gujarat, highlighting the city’s growing enthusiasm for premium electric motorcycles. Additionally, Oben Electric has received over 500 dealer enquiries from Gujarat in the last 30 days, indicating significant business opportunities in the state.
In a special message shared on the occasion, Hon’ble Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, welcomed the arrival of the Oben Rorr Evo and highlighted Gujarat’s leadership in EV adoption. “Made in India, for India, I warmly welcome the Oben Rorr Evo to Gujarat. This is not just an electric motorcycle; it is a new step forward for Atmanirbhar Bharat on our roads. Gujarat has emerged as one of the fastest-growing states for electric vehicle adoption, and I believe the people of Gujarat are ready to embrace electric mobility in a big way,” he said.
Speaking at the launch event, Shri Kaushik Vekariya congratulated Oben Electric on introducing a fully indigenous electric motorcycle and emphasized the importance of promoting sustainable mobility solutions aligned with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The newly launched Oben Rorr Evo has already crossed 25,000 bookings within 15 days of launch, making it one of the fastest-growing electric motorcycle launches in India. Deliveries are scheduled to commence from June 2026, while customers can continue to avail the introductory pricing through Oben Electric’s online booking platform.
Priced at an introductory ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers and ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom) thereafter, the Rorr Evo is powered by Oben Electric’s proprietary IPMSM motor producing 9 kW peak power and 250 Nm wheel torque. The motorcycle features a 3.4 kWh LFP battery, offering a claimed range of 180 km, acceleration from 0–40 km/h in 3 seconds, and a top speed of 110 km/h. The battery supports fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes and comes with an 8-year warranty.
The motorcycle also features SmartIQ™ AI-driven ride optimization, a 5-inch TFT display, OTA updates, navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilization, fall detection, and emergency SOS through Oben’s proprietary ARGUS connected technology platform.
Currently operating through 150+ showrooms and service centers across 100+ cities in 18 states, Oben Electric plans to add another 200 exclusive showrooms across India by FY27. The company manufactures all critical EV components in-house at its Bengaluru facility, including batteries, motors, vehicle control units, chargers, and software systems, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
