Ahmedabad: Under the leadership of SPS Commandant Manjita Vanzara, a seminar was held featuring esteemed insights from Dr. Nehal Sadhu, MD, and Dr. Bipin Patel, MD, both distinguished members of the Ahmedabad Medical Association. These experts discussed the serious health risks associated with obesity, including heart disease, diabetes, and hormonal imbalances, with a focus on specific concerns impacting women’s health. They provided practical guidance on nutrition, portion control, stress management, and adopting healthier lifestyle habits, particularly tailored to the unique demands of police work.

 

Supporting the initiative, Senior Police Officers SP Shri P. P. Vyas and DYSP Shri L. D. Rathod attended the seminar, pledging ongoing commitment to the well-being of their teams.

DYSP Rathod emphasised the workshop’s significance, stating,The workshop organized by Dream Foundation to spread awareness against obesity is not just a seminar; it is a vital step towards a healthier police force.”
